Jacqueline’s depth of expertise across all property disciplines makes her a valuable advisor to those with broad property interests. She offers extensive experience in major transactions and development projects, and a keen eye for detail that minimises risk for clients.
She advises commercial landlords and tenants on all matters, with particular knowledge of the retail sector where her clients have included numerous high street brands. She also offers the specialist advice required by health and sporting organisation occupiers.
With regard to property development, Jacqueline advises both residential and commercial developers on all stages of development transactions from site acquisition to disposal. She has a particular interest in mixed use development schemes. She also deals with investment transactions on behalf of lenders, borrowers and sellers. She is experienced in both sale & leaseback and stamp duty saving schemes.
Jacqueline has also been involved in a number of schools PFI transactions, acting for the private sector provider.
Key Experience and Clients
• Managed the development of a major mixed use town centre redevelopment in South West London, from site assembly to disposal by way of forward sale. Amongst other aspects, this involved acquisition of registered and unregistered land by private purchase and CPO; drafting and negotiation of pre-let documents; and the construction of a new railway footbridge.
• Acted for major retailers in taking leases of high street, shopping centre and out of town units including Central London flagship stores.
• Advised on the sale of a major bank headquarters office building for over £100m by way of a sale & leaseback scheme involving a Jersey property Unit Trust and a German Close Ended Fund.
• Acted for the lender on an LSVT of housing stock from a Midlands council to a housing association.
• Acted on behalf of the private sector provider in several schools PFI transactions. These involved non-commercial stakeholders, residential developers and commercial users of the school sports facilities.
