Tracy has over 10 years experience of dispute resolution, with a particular expertise in workplace, boardroom and shareholders dispute.
Before becoming joint Head of Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Tracy was joint Head of Employment. Throughout her career, Tracy has gained considerable experience guiding clients through commercial disputes to a successful conclusion whether by mediation, settlement negotiations and where necessary the litigation process.
Tracy now regularly advises on many aspect of general commercial dispute resolution including contractual claims, commercial debt recovery, professional negligence and intellectual property.
Key Experience and Clients
- Successfully defending proceedings for injunctive relief as a result of alleged breaches of restrictive covenants and confidentiality terms. Damages sought in excess of £250,000
- Advising a number of organisations in claims arising out of the Buncefield explosion
- Advice and assistance to clients in the healthcare sector, including NHS trusts, in connection with various contractual matters
- Enforcing personal guarantees and contracts on behalf of US clients as against individuals and companies based in the UK.
- Successfully resolving high value disputes with utility companies on behalf of commercial clients.
- Advises on negligence claims against regulatory organisations, professionals and public bodies.
