Client Hocking NDT Limited
Business Internationally recognised manufacturer of eddy current testing equipment. Hocking NDT’s products are used in the aerospace, rail, oil, gas, automotive and metal manufacturing industries.
Situation
GE Inspection Technologies in Germany (a division of GE Transportation, part of US giant General Electric) was a 50% shareholder in Hocking NDT Limited. A strategic decision was made to acquire the remaining share capital to enable them to offer additional technologies and equipment to help customers improve their manufacturing and repair productivity.
Solution: The remaining shares were successfully acquired by GE Inspection Technologies.
