Our work within the local St Albans and wider Hertfordshire community takes many forms. Most are based on the model of forging strong partnerships with local charities, advice services and voluntary organisations in order to deliver maximum benefit.

Fundraising

Fundraising for these organisations is vital, and we have a firm-wide commitment to community fundraising that is proactively supported by all our staff members. To continually improve this, we target our fundraising activities towards charitable causes that are important to both our people and our clients.

Pro Bono Legal Advice

We are able to add a great deal of value to our local community partners through the core services of our business – legal advice and assistance. We actively seek initiatives that we can support with pro bono legal services, particularly in our specialist commercial fields. We also focus our assistance towards fledgling businesses that would not be able to afford the services of a lawyer to put the necessary structures in place to protect them from risk.

Voluntary Service

Many of our staff members also serve voluntarily on the boards and committees of various local organisations and bodies.
