Broadway's annual sickness absence rate has now fallen to 1.24% or 3.16 days per person, which is considerably below the average for employers across the UK. SA Law have teamed up with Broadway's Real People to design an interactive training course that will arm you with the knowledge you need to effectively manage employee absence.
The course covers the following:
- Why do people call in sick?
- Monitoring, measuring and bench marking absence.
- Managing long-term -v- short-term absence.
- Implementing procedures and having difficult conversations (including occupational health, fit notes and return to work interviews).
- Dealing with difficult issues: Disability Discrimination Act, Drugs and Alcohol.
- Dealing with sickness during other formal procedures.
