The prestigious “Award for Innovation” – the SA Law-sponsored category at the forthcoming Watford and Northwest London Business Awards – is still up for grabs by a regional business. First round judging starts in April, allowing four more weeks for nominations to be received.

“We believe this is a unique opportunity,” explains Steve Ryan, SA Law’s Managing Partner. “The winning business will be seen as having a clear edge over its competitors. And judges are not simply limiting the category to product and service innovation. Innovative internal processes and models developed by businesses can be just as effective in pushing an organisation ahead of the pack.”

This marks the seventh year of the awards ceremony, which will be held at the Emirates Stadium (home to Arsenal Football Club) on 22 June 2007. Highlighting talent and achievement in the local business community, it has quickly become the region’s top business competition, with final round judging by the West Herts Chamber of Commerce and WENTA Business Services.

Other categories covered by the awards are “Best Growing Business”, “Small Business of the Year”, “Business of the Year” and the “Entrepreneur Award”. Nominations are open to all commercial entities in the region. Businesses and individuals can nominate themselves or nominate others that they feel deserve recognition for their work.

As many businesses as possible are encouraged to enter. Click here to download a nomination form.
