A pair of intrepid cyclists are taking on a marathon 1000-mile cycling challenge, from Lands End to John O’Groats, in aid of national charity, the Willow Foundation.

Chris George, 30, of Leighton Buzzard, and father-of-two, Kevin Mills, 46, of Welwyn Garden City, aim to complete the epic bicycle adventure in just 13 days.

The challenge, which begins on Saturday 11 July, will raise funds for the Willow Foundation – a national charity, founded by former Arsenal goalkeeper and TV presenter, Bob Wilson, and his wife, Megs, that provides special days for seriously ill 16 – 40 year olds.

IT services director, Chris, and, Three Valleys Water employee, Kevin, aim to cycle between 70 and 85 miles each day.
