Hertfordshire-based law firm SA Law today announces the appointment of Matthew Duggan, who joins the firm’s Corporate and Commercial team as a senior consultant.
Duggan, who arrives from the Milton Keynes office of Gorvins Solicitors, specialises in company and commercial law. He joins the growing Corporate and Commercial team, which is widely regarded as having some of the leading solicitors outside of London and was recently praised for its “thorough, knowledgeable and highly personable” staff in the Legal 500 .
Duggan began his career at SJ Berwin in London, where he was for several years a member of what is reputedly Europe’s largest private equity department. He subsequently took up a post as General Counsel to United Customer Management Solutions in Australia, before returning to the UK.
Matthew Duggan said today:
“I am delighted to join such a vibrant firm, which has clearly gone from strength to strength since completing its management buy-out from Pictons in 2005 . This business is clearly going places, and I’m keen to be able to play a part in that success.”
Stephen Ryan, SA Law’s Managing Partner, said today:
“Bringing in someone of Matthew’s experience and pedigree is a great coup for SA Law. His entrepreneurial spirit matches that of the firm, and indeed many of our clients, and his expertise in public equity is invaluable. The continued success and growth of our Corporate and Commercial team really highlights the high level of commercial activity in and around Hertfordshire, and the overall strength of the local economy.”
