The Hertfordshire-based law firm SA Law has once again ranked highly in the independent legal industry directory ‘The Legal 500’. The latest annual research of UK law firms unveiled last week continues to recognise all of SA Law’s departments as industry leaders, with four considered to offer an even greater service than reported in 2006.
The firm’s strong presence in the directory mirrors its growing commercial success since launching in 2005. SA Law is now entrenched in the Hertfordshire business community, serving a range of SMEs with national and international business interests as well as taking instructions from blue chip national companies such as ITV, Viacom Outdoor and Snappy Snaps.
The growing success and reputation of SA Law’s Commercial Litigation department has been rewarded with yet another climb in rank, with a top tier position that now heralds it as one of the best teams across Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Middlesex. Also entering a top tier position is the Sports practice which, under the driving force of industry name Peter Goodman, is now considered to be delivering the best representation for clubs, teams and sports professionals across the entire South East of England.
The huge growth in commercial property work has also been recognised with a climb in rank for the department – as has the ever-increasing strength of SA Law’s media & entertainment expertise. The remaining departments, which cover SA Law’s corporate, commercial, employment and private client advice, have continued to hold their excellent positioning, with the Family department still considered to be the number one advisor across Hertfordshire.
Client and peer testimonials, on which much of the research is based, have been equally strong. SA Law and its staff have been described as “professional and courteous”, “impeccable”, putting “clients at the centre of its focus”, a firm for “anyone who seeks competence”, and rated for “commercial attitude”.
“Thank you to everyone involved – we are absolutely delighted to be so highly regarded in the region,” comments Managing Partner Steven Ryan. “There have been many more developments over the last few months, so we are excited to see what will happen next year. We hope that the substantial increase in our employment offering, expanding commercial teams and expertise, together with our broadening international client base will make us candidates for even greater recognition.”
