Nikki Petken, a solicitor at SA Law has won the Young Person‘s Award at the annual St Albans Community Business Awards, organised by the St Albans Chamber of Commerce.
Petken, who qualified with the firm in 2007, was nominated as a result of her pro-bono legal work for the Watford Enterprise Agency (WENTA) and the St Albans Centre for Voluntary Services (CVS), as well as her contributions to other charity events. She was nominated alongside Umesh Dalal, Thistle Hotel, and Lok Ming Fung, Trestle Theatre.
The Awards recognise the contribution of business to the St Albans District in areas such as Corporate Social Responsibility, Leadership and New Talent. SA Law was also nominated for the Corporate Social Responsibility award.
