SA Law is joining forces with other community organisations to sponsor The Peace Hospice’s inaugural women’s charity walk. “The Starlight Walk” begins at midnight on Saturday 16 June and will cover a high profile route through Watford that starts and ends at the Colosseum.

The Peace Hospice provides free assistance to those facing the crisis of cancer and other terminal illnesses. Using specialist doctors, nurses and therapists, it provides a holistic support service for the patients and their families. The hospice relies on charitable donations for 75% of its annual budget and this new innovation is set to contribute a huge amount of vital funding.

The walk is open to women of all ages and fitness levels. Many of the participants have a friend or family member who is currently facing a terminal illness. Others will walk in memory of loved ones cared for by the hospice.
