Date 8 December 2006

SA Law has joined the board of sponsors for the prestigious Watford & North West London Business Awards – the annual event honoring the most successful businesses in the region.

Pioneered by RBS, BDO Stoy Hayward, 2007 and Alliotts marks the seventh year of the awards. Alongside the categories of “Best Growing Business”, “Small Business of the Year”, the “Entrepreneur Award” and “Business of the Year”, SA Law is sponsoring next year’s “Award for Innovation”.

“A rise in competition forces innovation to the top of the agenda,” comments SA Law Managing Partner Steve Ryan. “Of course, this is not simply limited to products and services. Innovation applied to internal processes and business models has become an equally important means to achieve differentiation, unlock potential and enhance profits.”

Nominations are open to all commercial entities in the region. Businesses and individuals can nominate themselves or nominate others who they feel deserve recognition for their work.

The awards are officially launched on 12 December 2006 at the next Watford Chamber of Commerce Meeting. Applications need to be in by 23 January 2007, after which first round judging will be undertaken by the sponsors. After a further round of judging by Watford Chamber of Commerce and the Watford Enterprise Agency, the winners will receive their awards at a ceremony on 22 June 2007.

“We are delighted to sponsor the Watford & North West London Award for Innovation,” adds Steve. “We are very much looking forward to judging what is usually a fierce competition!”
