The St Albans Half Marathon is once again benefiting from sponsorship by SA Law. For the second year in a row, the firm will be funding key aspects of the prestigious local event, which this year takes place on Sunday 10 June 2007.

The highly successful 2006 event attracted record numbers of over 4,000 runners of all ages and abilities. 2,068 ran the Half Marathon itself, with 1,239 children aged 3 months to 12 years and 486 mums, dads and grandparents running the 1.5-mile fun run. The 2007 event is set to draw an even larger crowd with a new and even more exciting course.

SA Law’s contribution will cover provision of the shirt numbers and the finishing clock. Funds raised by the event will be split amongst three primary beneficiaries – Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity, The Neuroblastoma Society and Herts In Trust.

“The spirit of the Half Marathon is overwhelming,” comments Julie Gingell, Head of Marketing for SA Law. “The day is always tremendous fun and we are delighted that SA Law is able to continue its support for this remarkable community event.”
