It’s that time of the year again, when lawyers across the country wait with bated breath for the results of the new Legal 500 independent research on UK law firms.

From January to July every year, Legal 500 undertakes in-depth research of all UK law firms, publishing its findings each September as a printed directory and online resource.

And we’ve done it again! SA Law has been ranked as a regional leader in all of its major fields of expertise: corporate and commercial; dispute resolution; insolvency and corporate recovery; employment; family; personal tax; commercial property; property litigation; media and entertainment; and sport.

We’re particularly proud to maintain our position in property litigation, which was a new entry last year thanks to the hard work of Lynsey Newman in building a first class practice.

As always, Legal 500 had lots of nice things to say about us, and we’d like to thank all of our clients who were interviewed by the researchers.

Highlights include references to our “client-conscious [dispute resolution] practice”, fielding a “heavyweight presence in the IT, sports and retail sectors” and a “strong contentious presence” in employment.
