This course will provide Managers and HR Professionals with:-

  1. A clear understanding of diversity and equality issues in the modern work place.
  2. The ability to identify situations when equality and diversity issues arise both within the team and in their own management of that team on a day to day basis.
  3. A clear understanding of the legal framework governing the legality of workplace equality and the implications of failing in effective line management of such issues as they arise.
  4. The necessary confidence to deal effectively with diversity and equality issues in the context of work place disputes and in particular to identify, analyse, address and resolve workplace issues under the most appropriate procedure.
  5. An outline of the practical administrative and procedural steps that need to be followed to protect the interests of the manager, the organisation and the workforce as a whole.
  6. An outline of the positive impact on the manger, the organisation and the workforce where diversity and equality issues are properly addressed.
